His energy is infectious, his drive relentless, and his commitment to helping kids undeniable. That’s Chad Macy, owner and founder of Eyes Up, a group training program for kids called Movement. When we caught up on a rainy February afternoon, he had just completed the defense for his Doctorate of Ministry.
Eyes Up – How It Began
Seeing the toll the pandemic was taking on kids—both mentally and physically—Chad launched Eyes Up to encourage children to get outside, stay active, reconnect with others, and reduce stress and anxiety through exercise.

“I wanted to meet kids where they were at,” Chad shares. “It’s not just for the sporty kids but for the gamers and readers too.” By keeping the programs affordable, participation is accessible to more kids.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a thriving business. So far in 2025 alone, Eyes Up has already trained over 700 kids through private training, clinics, camps, and team partnerships.
What Is Movement?

Movement is a group exercise program designed to improve agility, strength, cardio, footwork, speed, and endurance through relays, races, and challenges—all in a fun, engaging environment.
Great for kids who may not have a competitive drive. They’re kept motivated through encouragement, teamwork, and personal goals. It’s also ideal for young athletes who need extra conditioning to enhance game performance.
“Seeing kids achieve something they once thought impossible is what motivates me,” Chad says.
Get Involved
Eyes Up offers programs unlike anything I’ve seen before. The best way to truly understand it is to jump in and experience it firsthand! All your kids need are comfy clothes, a water bottle, and a willingness to move.
